So we’ve been here in the Lone Star State’s capitol for a little over a month now and we love it. And by we, I really mean Nate. While I certainly don’t hate living here (it is my home state after all) Nate is Austin’s biggest fan. On more than one occasion, he has been known to exclaim that he is “never leaving this place.”
We have only started to explore but we have loved pretty much every place that we’ve been to, most of them including food. Oh, and in case I forgot to mention this, Austin has some of the best food i’ve ever had. Even these vegetarians have had to test some of the local BBQ out here. Salt Lick and Rudy’s are to die for. Amen.
Enough about food- we will do plenty of updates the more we explore. We need to talk about how the hunkiest guy I know turned 29 in March! We started the day off at a famous donut place and kept eating wonderfully delicious but not -so-nutritious food all day. Round Rock Donuts and Cantina Laredo were definitely the highlights along with hitting up quite a few stores for some great shopping.
It was a great day and a great excuse for Nate to take the day off of work.
